Armed with their tenth studio album ‘Jackpot Juicer’, Sacramento rock favourites DANCE GAVIN DANCE are set to make their return to Australia this November, joined by special guests in NOTHING MORE.
The November 2023 dates will offer Australian fans a long overdue moment of reconnection with DANCE GAVIN DANCE; since the band’s last tour of the country in 2019, much has changed in terms of the band’s evolution and with the release of ‘Jackpot Juicer’, their vision moving forward.
‘Jackpot Juicer’, released in 2022, marked a new era for DANCE GAVIN DANCE. An album that represents rejuvenated ambition and artistry clarity, ‘Jackpot Juicer’ landed with impact: a record brimming with the post-hardcore essence fans have long loved from the band, packaged and delivered with new ferocity.
For DANCE GAVIN DANCE, ‘Jackpot Juicer’ is a touchstone moment. Their longest album to date, ‘Jackpot Juicer’ is the final album to feature bassist Tim Feerick, who tragically passed away months before the album’s release. In the wake of such a loss, ‘Jackpot Juicer’ is a celebration of a strong musical spirit, as it is an album that continues to build an ongoing legacy for DANCE GAVIN DANCE.
‘Jackpot Juicer’, with its versatile moments of sonic empowerment, and its shades of vulnerability, reinforces DANCE GAVIN DANCE’s positioning as one of the genre’s most successful to do it.
