Brisbane raised R&B artist Kedus has today unveiled his impressive debut EP ‘Moments In The Blur’ via db music/Warner Music Australia. The EP features new single Shmood, recent singles The Little Things, Ballroom Bop, Sunset Dream, and three extra new songs.

“This project is a collection of moments in the blurry spectrum of life, placed in a order that tells a story. That story is up to the listener to find and create their own perspective…” Kedus says of the EP.

With praise from the likes of Acclaim, Life Without Andy, Cool Accidents, Tone Deaf, CADA, Soundcloud Radio and more, Kedus is captivating listeners with his versatility and evocative sound. His debut single Sunset Dream, released in 2021, peaked at #22 on the Spotify AU Viral Chart, clocked airplay on triple j and CADA, and saw Kedus named Apple Music’s Up Next Artist before releasing follow up single Konjo.

As a first-generation Ethiopian who was born and raised in Brisbane Australia, Kedus manages to reach a level of depth and introspection that extends beyond his 20 years. Although predominantly R&B centred, Kedus is inspired by all genres of music and doesn’t shy away from the challenge of originality. By artistically layering elements of soul, jazz, trap, hip-hop, dancehall, and indie, he creates a musical experience both unique and familiar, with each track seamlessly transitioning into the next. You never know what you’re going to get from the young act and that is the unique excitement he creates.
